Fred Boadu - Assistant Department Head
Fred Boadu, is the Assistant Department Head for Undergraduate Student Affairs and a professor of Agricultural Economics. Dr. Boadu holds a law degree from Georgia State University and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky. He is a 2005-2006 Risk Policy Fellow, selected by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He can be reached at FOB@ag.tamu.edu.
Pam Vernon - Advisor
Pam Vernon has been employed by Texas A&M for 30 years, the last 20 years in the Department of Agricultural Economics. She was born and raised in Iola, Texas, and worked a couple of years in a big city (Houston) which gives her the ability to relate to students from all backgrounds. In addition to providing academic assistance to students, she works with the Department’s scholarship program. Pam is a member of the University Advisors and Counselors, The ATM Mentors program and serves as co-chair for the College of Ag’s Counselor Retreat held each fall and spring. Pam has been married to her husband, Bobby, for 30 years and they both enjoy spoiling their cats Boots and Maynard. She can be reached at

Donna Adcock - Advisor
Donna Adcock has returned to the Department of Agricultural Economics Department to become the newest member of the student advising team. She was raised on a farm/ranch in Pflugerville, Texas. After receiving her degree in Agricultural Economics from TAMU in 1987, she worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. She returned to TAMU as a student and received her MS in Agricultural Economics in 1992. Donna has worked as an Extension Associate with the Economic Development Unit of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service; in TAMU's Admissions Office; and with the Economic Development Department at the City of Bryan. Dusty Menzies - Advisor
Dusty Menzies has been a member of the Agricultural Economics Department's student advising team since 2006. In addition to his duties as counselor/advisor, he is the instructor for AGEC 217. Dusty was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas, which is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. He has been involved in agriculture all his life, from showing his first pig when he was 3 years old at the Gillespie County Fair to currently being co-owner, with his sister and brother in-law, of a herd of 80 Registered Angus cows. Dusty has been an Aggie for quite a while. He received a B.S. from A&M in Animal Science and Agricultural Economics and a Masters in Agricultural Economics. Angela Catlin - Administrative Assistant
Angela M. Catlin is the Administrative Assistant for Undergraduate Programs. She is a native of College Station and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education). She obtained a Master's in Library Sciences in 2007 from the University of North Texas. She has been a part of the Agricultural Economics Department since June 2002. Alisha Burnett - Student Technician
Alisha Burnett is a student worker in the Agriculture Economics Undergraduate Office. She is from Andrews, Texas, and expects to graduate in May 2010 with a degree in Ag Economics. She joined the Undergraduate Office team in August 2008. She can be reached at aaburnett@ag.tamu.edu.
Robyn Combs - Student Technician
Robyn Combs is a student technician in the Agricultural Economics Undergraduate Office. She is from Cypress, Texas, and expects to graduate in December 2010 with a degree in Agribusiness. She joined the Undergraduate Office team in Fall 2009. She can be reached at rhcombs@ag.tamu.edu.
Austin Miller - Student Technician
Austin Miller is a student technician in the Agricultural Economics Undergraduate Office from Tomball, Texas. He graduated May 2009 with a Bachelor's in Agribusiness from Texas A&M where he has also begun working on a Master's in Agricultural Economics. Wesley Tobola - Student Technician
Wesley Tobola is a student technician in the Agricultural Economics Undergraduate Office. He is from Hallettsville, Texas, and expects to graduate in May 2011 with a degree in Agribusiness. He joined the Undergraduate Office team in Summer 2009. He can be reached at watobola@ag.tamu.edu.
 
Brook Dickison - Career Center Representative
Brook Dickison is dually appointed as the Career Coordinator for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the TAMU Career Center. Brook is an Aggie, Class of '03; she majored in Agricultural Development. Her extensive agricultural background through FFA and 4-H in Humble, combined with work experience in the non-profit sector, make her ideal for this position.
