Fred Boadu - Assistant Department HeadFred Boadu, is the Assistant Department Head for Undergraduate Student Affairs and a professor of Agricultural Economics. Dr. Boadu holds a law degree from Georgia State University and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky. Pam Vernon - Senior Academic Advisor IIPam Vernon has been employed by Texas A&M for 30 years, the last 20 years in the Department of Agricultural Economics. She was born and raised in Iola, Texas, and worked a couple of years in a big city (Houston) which gives her the ability to relate to students from all backgrounds. In addition to providing academic assistance to students, she works with the Department’s scholarship program. Pam is a member of the University Advisors and Counselors, The ATM Mentors program and serves as co-chair for the College of Ag’s Counselor Retreat held each fall and spring. Pam has been married to her husband, Bobby, for 30 years and they both enjoy spoiling their cats Boots and Maynard. She can be reached at |

Donna Adcock - Academic Advisor IIDonna Adcock has returned to the Department of Agricultural Economics Department to become the newest member of the student advising team. She was raised on a farm/ranch in Pflugerville, Texas. After receiving her degree in Agricultural Economics from TAMU in 1987, she worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. She returned to TAMU as a student and received her MS in Agricultural Economics in 1992. Donna has worked as an Extension Associate with the Economic Development Unit of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service; in TAMU's Admissions Office; and with the Economic Development Department at the City of Bryan. Dusty Menzies - AdvisorDusty Menzies has been a member of the Agricultural Economics Department's student advising team since 2006. In addition to his duties as counselor/advisor, he is the instructor for AGEC 217. Dusty was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas, which is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. He has been involved in agriculture all his life, from showing his first pig when he was 3 years old at the Gillespie County Fair to currently being co-owner, with his sister and brother in-law, of a herd of 80 Registered Angus cows. Dusty has been an Aggie for quite a while. He received a B.S. from A&M in Animal Science and Agricultural Economics and a Masters in Agricultural Economics.
